FISHER - Barbara Christine (Dillon), 66, of Hurdle Fence Drive, Avon, CT wife of Edward A. Fisher, died Sunday, February 27, 2005 at Brightview of Avon. She was born December 2, 1938 in Elizabeth, NJ, daughter of the late Joseph Francis and Grace Alice (Sutter) Dillon and had lived in Westwood, NJ prior to moving to Avon 15 years ago. She graduated in 1956 from Battin High School, Elizabeth, NJ and had worked as secretary to the superintendent of the Bergen Generating Station, P.S.E. & G in Ridgefield, NJ, and later worked for Johl & Co. in Westwood, NJ. For the last eight years she worked as office manager for Gillette Financial in Farmington, CT. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Edward A.Y. and Melanie Fisher of Newington, CT, three daughters and a son-in-law; Johanna and Stephen Hilla of Wilmington, NC, Jane Fisher of Grenada Hills, CA, and Adrienne Fisher of Avon, CT, a brother Joseph Dillon of Brick Township, NJ, three sisters Carole Weber of Linden, NJ, Marjorie Maslowski of Colonia, NJ and Johanna Pecht of Bradenton, FL, four grandchildren; Justin, Timothy, and Emily Hilla and Rebecca Fisher and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike, Canton, CT, Thursday, March 3 from 1-4 PM. Funeral service will follow at 4 PM with the Rev. Marshall E. Lindon officiating. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., P.O. Box 1004, Meriden, CT 06450-1004.
