Barbara C. (Cahill) Morris, 58, a resident of Easton for the past 20 years, died December 25, 2014, at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, after a period of failing health. Born in Boston, August 8, 1956, a daughter of the late James J. and Eleanor M. (Welch) Cahill, she was raised in Dorchester and was a graduate of Arch Bishop Williams High School. She continued her education at UMass-Amherst earning a bachelors degree in Psychology. Barbara was employed as an accountant for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. A communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Easton, she was a member of the Friends of the Easton Library and the Easton Historical Society. Barbara is survived by a son, Patrick Morris of Santa Cruz, Calif.; a daughter, Cailey G. Morris of Easton; a grandson, Jayden Morris of Easton; a brother, James T. Cahill of Walpole; two sisters, Nancy Shine of West Roxbury and Elaine Hennessy of Hanson; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday morning, January 10, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte. 138), Easton, followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 193 Main Street, Easton, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbaras memory may be sent to the Easton Food Pantry, 136 Elm Street, Easton, MA. 02356.
