Barbara C. Johnsonof ApalachinBarbara C. Johnson, 67, of Owego, passed away Friday, February 21, 2003, at home. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Dr. Thomas H. Johnson; brother and sister-in-law, James and Joan Crampton, Long Island, N.Y.; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Johnson graduated from St. Clare's Hospital of Nursing in 1955 with high honors. She worked for St. Clare's Hospital in the operating room as a surgical and urological nurse. Barbara moved to Tioga County with her husband, Tom, to assist him with his medical practice. Barbara was a loving and devoted wife and will be fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.Burial will be in Delwood Cemetery, Manchester, Vt. Memorial contributions may be made in Barbara C. Johnson's memory to the American Parkinson Disease Assoc., Inc., 1250 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, N.Y. 10305, or Stray Haven, 194 Shepherd Rd., Waverly, N.Y. 14892.
