Barbara Brown     Pooler, 82     SANFORD -- Barbara Brown Pooler died Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, at the Greenwood center in Sanford. Blessed are the meek and gentle spirit she was.     She was predeceased by her loving parents, Ernest W. Brown and Sylvia Ann Moulton Brown of Kennebunk; and her brother, Keith P. Brown. Barbara is survived by her husband Elvert Pooler of Sanford; her three children, Karen Dargis and husband Paul of Kennebunk, Anna Curtis Ingalls of Alfred, Dexter Curtis and wife Sally of Wells; and her sister, Martha Brown McLean of Kennebunk.     Barbara was a much loved and special grandmother to Lisa Dargis Nickerson of Virginia, Steven Dargis of Saco, Jessica Ingalls Jarvis of Arundel, Tara Ingalls of California, Shellie Curtis Davis of Idaho, Tracie Curtis of Old Orchard Beach, and Jaime Curtis Neilsen of Parsonsfield. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, Michael and Megan Nickerson, Wade and Webber Jarvis, Kayla, Phillip and Jackson Davis, Zachary Curtis and Colby Neilsen.     In her earlier years, Barbara was active in church activities including choir, bible studies and baking for church suppers, and was a member of The Order of Eastern Stars.     She so enjoyed the special times when she could be together with her family at backyard barbeques or cooking for many Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.      For several years, she traveled with her husband Elvert to Florida, where they had a cozy little home in a nice park. They had many wonderful friends together, many of whom still correspond with Elvert today.     Barbara always had a beautiful smile, a gentle and loving spirit, a kind word and many prayers for all her loved ones. She was our loving mother and wife and is now our Guardian Angel.     A family celebration of her life will be held at a later date.    Barbara Brown Pooler
