Barbara "Bobbie" Bell Williams -Savannah- Barbara "Bobbie" Bell Williams, 78, died Sunday, October 15, 2005 at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born in Atlanta, GA and lived most of her life in the Savannah area. Bobbie worked as a secretary for Lazard Curlee & Company, John D. Carswell Company and retired from Candler Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, George R. "Bob" Williams; and also by her parents, Loys and Era Lena Barrett Bell. She was a member of Bull Street Baptist Church, the Couples Sunday School Class, Spice Co., Chancel Choir and WMU. Survivors: two daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki Joyner and Michael Chancey of Savannah, Debra and Paul Lafferty of Guyton, five grandchildren, Jamey Ake, Ashley Towson Runkle, James "Jimmy" Towson, Robert Burnett, Marcus Lafferty; four great grandchildren, Caleb Ake, Christian Runkle, Brinstian Runkle, Kaylee Towson; several nieces, nephews, and other family. Memorial contribution may be made to Bull Street Baptist Church Spice Co., 17 East Anderson Street, Savannah, GA 31401. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Fairhaven Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Bull Street Baptist Church with Rev. Earnie Pirkle officiating. Burial: Hillcrest West Cemetery.
