VYSE, Barbara Beatrice (nee Smith) - It is with great sadness that the family announces her peaceful passing at the Brantford General Hospital on May 7, 2008 in her 75th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Alton VanEvery, sons William and Michael Vyse, parents Wilfred and Beatrice Smith, brothers Ervin (Lorna), Graham, and Edgar Smith. Survived by sisters-in-law Shirley and Florence Smith, Mary Bloomfield and Carolyn Beaver. Mother of Lisa, loving grandmother to Alaina and Alyse and most devoted great-grandma and reading buddy to Cle. She will be sadly missed and always remembered by many nieces and nephews who each held a special place in her heart. The family will receive friends at STYRES FUNERAL HOME, Ohsweken on Monday 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service and Interment of Cremated Remains will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Six Nations on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael Vyse Memorial Fund c/o the W. Ross Macdonald School, Brantford.
