Barbara A. Wright Salem, NJ Barbara A. Wright, age 75, of Salem passed away Tuesday, February 10th at her home. Born in Salem she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Ethel Spencer Hadley. Mrs. Wright was the City Clerk and Administrator for the City of Salem for 20 years before her retirement. Mrs. Wright had served as a Salem City Board of Education member and past president, a county Board of Education member and past president, and a Director of the Salem City port Authority. She also volunteered at the Salem County Memorial Hospital, was a Salem High School Marching Rams Booster Club supporter and taught piano lessons for 27 years. Barbara attended of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Pennsville where she played the piano and was a member of the choir, the women's bible study and sat on various church committees. She is survived by her husband, Harold Wright Jr.; her sons, Howdy Wright of Thorofare and Douglas Wright of Pennsville; her daughter, Sally Wright of Pennsville; four grandchildren, Harold Wright IV, Christopher Wright, Alec Wright and Dorea Wright; and four great grandchildren. Barbara is predeceased by her brother, David Hadley. Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 17th in Trinity United Methodist Church, 75 South Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070 where friends may call after 10:00 AM. A visitation will be held Monday, February 16th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 34 Oak Street, Salem. Burial will be in Fernwood Memorial Park, Hopewell Township. Contributions in Barbara's memory may be made to the Memorial Fund of the Trinity United Methodist Church, 75 South Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070.
