BRANDON - Barbara Ann Lee, 80, died Sept. 12, 2012, at Fletcher Allen following a brief illness. She was surrounded by her children and her sister at the time of her passing. She was born April 19, 1932, in Goshen, the daughter of Carl and Gladys (Cook) Forguites. She graduated from Brandon High School. She worked for many years as a secretary at the Ayrshire Breeders Association and later for the psychiatrist at the Brandon Training School. She also worked for Leicester and Neshobe schools in the lunch program. When she was a young wife and mother, she enjoyed camping with her family and spending time in Maine listening and watching the waves at the ocean. She was active in the Scouts for both of her children. She had served on the vestry and the altar guild at St. Thomas Church. Barb was happiest when she was with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, best friend, and lifelong love, Gordon J. Lee in 1999. Barbara is survived by her daughter Melinda MacKissock, her husband Ron and their children Danielle and Jesse MacKissock of Brandon; by her son Jeffery Lee, his wife Michele and his three sons Andrew and Kenneth of Brandon, and Michael of New Hampshire; and great-children Kaiden and Karis Lee; also by her sister, Betsy Forguites of Brandon. A memorial service will be held Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the Common Room at 30 Conant Square in Brandon.
