Kent, Barbara A., age 87, of Fort Lauderdale, FL, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2009. Mrs. Kent was born on August 30, 1922 in Massachusetts and was a daughter of Thomas and Mae Burns. Barbara is survived by a son, Thomas (Choobeen) Kent; a daughter, Maureen (John) Flanagan; 6 grandchildren, Adam (Jessica) Kent, Kent and Kelly Flanagan, Jane, John, and Jeanette McDonald; and a great-granddaughter, Rowan Kent. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas S.; her daughter, Cheryl M. Kent; and 9 siblings. Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, September 26, 2009, at the Kraeer Funeral Home, 200 N. Federal Highway, Pompano Beach, FL 33062, where there will be funeral services held at 12:30 p.m. followed by interment at Lauderdale Memorial Park in Fort Lauderdale.
