Barbara A. Brown of Quincy passed away at Hancock Park Nursing & Rehab. Center on Monday, August 9, 2010 at age 87. A homemaker, she was a lifelong Quincy resident. A devout member of the 3rd Order of Decalced Carmelites, she was active in Holy Trinity Parish, Our Lady of Good Counsel Church where she attended daily Mass with her fellow "Morning Glories". Barbara was devoted to her family, friends and Merrymount neighbors whom she remembered with cards, prayers and $2 bills. Barbara lived a happy life with her two sisters, Claire and Janet, as well as her two aunts, Katherine and Margaret Sullivan, enjoying the art of conversation and summers in Nantucket. The beloved daughter of the late Byron and Claire (Sullivan) Brown, she is survived by two nieces, two nephews and six great-nephews. A memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 19. Family and friends are invited to attend. Barbara's ashes will then be buried at Mt.
