BROWN Barbara A. Brown, age 53 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Bridgeport Hospital after a brief illness. Barbara was born January 12, 1957 in St. Augustine, Fla., daughter of Alfred John Glen and the late Mary Taylor Thomas. She was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport. She was educated in the Florida School System. Then she relocated to Connecticut. She was employed at Norwalk Hospital as a patient transport. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Kyra Carl Ferrell of Jacksonville, Fla., and Everett Bolling of Bridgeport; a daughter, Azia Lynette Brown of Bridgeport; four brothers, Robert B. Batie of Tampa, Fla., Colise J. Frazier, Alfred J. Glenn Jr. and Terry P. Glenn, all of St. Augustine, Fla.; two sisters, Iris V. Glenn and Sandra D. Glenn of Florida;, dod-sister, Anita Birthwright of Georgia; two aunts, Rethabell Taylor of Florida and Daisy Davis of New Jersey; three grand-daughters, Kyona Ferrell of Jacksonville, Fla., Malaysia Bolling and Aziana Humphrey, both of Bridgeport. A celebration of Ms. Brown's life and legacy will be held Saturday (TODAY), April 10, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Gospel Mission Church, 219 James Street, Bridgeport.
