ObituaryBrenda J. Thompson, age 55, of Fort Myers, passed away October 8th, 2009. Born in Columbus, OH, she was daughter to the late Frank and Marilyn Wilson.Brenda was selfless with a great sense of humor, always caring for others and putting family before everything else. She showed strength and grace to the very end.Brenda is survived by her son, Matthew Thompson of Lehigh Acres; brothers, Frank (Peggy) Wilson of Fort Myers and Gary Wilson of Naples; sister Cheryl Wilson of Fort Myers; Aunt Della Ward of Fort Myers; cousins, Sue Collver of N. Fort Myers and Phyla Jean of Marco Island; also surviving is granddaughter Bonnie Jo Thompson as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her family, Brenda leaves behind her beloved dog, Ginger.A Memorial Service will be held 3pm Saturday October 17th, 2009 at the Anderson - Patterson Cremation and Funeral Services, located at 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916 (239) 694-4121.
