DAVIS, BRENDA HOLT, 53, of Hayden, passed away May 20, 2011. She was preceded in death by her father, Claude A. Holt and brother, James "Buddy" French Holt. She is survived by her loving husband, Ricky A. Davis, Jr.; mother, Ila E. Holt; daughter, Amanda Holt Dickinson; brother, David A. Holt; stepchildren, Robin (Jonathan) Brohm, Tiffany (Josh) Simpson, and David (Amber) Davis. She was a proud and loving Grammee to Kylee Dickinson, Aydan Brohm, and Charlize Simpson. She is also survived by sisters, Linda Holt, Nina (Lee) Gunnin, and Charmagne (Alvin) Sturgis. Memorial will be held on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 1pm at Trinity Baptist Church, County Rd. 45, Nectar, AL. Bro. Bobby Davis officiating. Graveside services to follow at Union Grove Cemetery in Hayden. The family would like to say a special thanks to Brenda's employer Dyer Industries and to her caregivers at New Beacon Hospice.
