Bonnie Mae Johnson, 78, of 109 Clyde Road, Fountain Inn, died Aug. 5, 2001, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. She was born in Wicksburg, Ala., and was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Lula Mae Peters. She was the wife of the late Frank B. Johnson and a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She was survived by three daughters, Judy J. Mahaffey and her husband, Bobby J. of Fountain Inn, Pam Lewis of Fountain Inn, Dale Abercrombie and her husband Mickey of Fountain Inn; one son, Eric Johnson and his wife Kay of Fountain Inn. She was survived by several sisters and brothers, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Frankie B. Johnson Jr. and John Russell Johnson. Visitation will be held today at Cannon Funeral Home, Fountain Inn, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2001, at Beulah Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Eddy Mattison officiating with burial in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beulah Baptist Church Building Fund, 1100, Greenpond Road, Fountain Inn, SC 29644.
