Beverly E. Harris 1929 - 2012 WALPOLE, NH Beverly E. Harris, 82, of Putnam Road, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH. She was born March 14, 1929, in Claremont, daughter of Floyd and Miriam (Haskell) Young. Mrs. Harris attended school in Weathersfield and was a graduate of the Springfield High School, Springfield, VT. She worked for Jones and Lamson in Springfield, and was housekeeper for Austin Hubbard for 25 years. Mrs. Harris was a member of the Westminster Congregational Church, Westminster, VT. She enjoyed going to York Beach, ME, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In Weathersfield Bow on Oct. 30, 1948, she married Harold Edmund Harris. Mrs. Harris is survived by her husband of Walpole, NH; her son, Dennis F. Harris of Vernon, VT; her daughter, Dianne Fontaine of North Springfield, VT; her brother, Kenneth Young of Wethersfield, VT; six grandchildren, Darren, David and Diana Fontaine, Christen Hebert, Scott and Caitlan Harris; 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and six brothers and sisters. FUNERAL NOTICE: There will be calling hours Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at the FENTON & HENNESSEY FUNERAL HOME, Bellows Falls, VT from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, at the Congregational Church, Westminster, VT. Burial will take place in the cemetery in Weathersfield Bow.
