JOHNSON, BETTY MAE, 72Belleview - Betty Mae Johnson, 72, of Belleview went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Betty Mae Johnson was born in Antioch, California on December 30, 1941 to Margaret and Harvey Ele. She moved to Belleview, Fl with her family in 1992. She enjoyed her motorcycle, cars, quilting, making jewelry, traveling and spending time with family and friends. The love of her life was her Pug dog Starla, who won many competitions and was even mentioned in the news several times. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Bob Johnson and her sister Roberta Yates. Survivors include James Johnson (Son) and his wife Sheryl, Ocala, FL; Barbara Payne (Sister) of Oregon; Manfred "Bill" Ele (Brother) of Texas; Lois O'Connor (Sister) of Washington; Virginia Effinger (Sister) of Washington. A viewing will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Belleview, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL, 34420 on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 5 to 7 PM. The service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Hiers-Baxley Belleview, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL, 34420 at 10 AM with an interment to follow at Belleview Cemetery.
