HENDERSON, BETTY GENE, 81, of St. Cloud, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 8, 2006. She was born in Canton, Ohio and graduated from Canton Actual Business College. She moved to St. Cloud in the late 1950's. She was a Civil Servant to the Federal Government as an Office Manager. In addition she worked for SunTrust Bank as a clerk and with the Kissimmee Hospital as a Medical Transcriber. She was also a faithful, visionary servant to her church, First United Methodist Church of St. Cloud. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Robert B. and Alma V. Henderson; and by her sister, Marjorie Henderson Jones. She is survived by her nephews, Scott Jones of Brookings, OR and David Jones of College Park, MD, to which she was a loving, caring Aunt. In addition, her cousin and close friend, Bonnie Watkins is also a resident of St. Cloud. She was a member of the Osceola County Genealogy Club and the National Audubon Society. A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM, Thursday, January 12, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church of St. Cloud with the Reverend Alexis Talbott officiating.
