SCHMIDT, BARBARA ANN, Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Wife to I.D. Schmidt, passed away at 4:45PM on Wednesday, May 29, 2002. A longtime resident of Creve Coeur & Wekiva, FL. Barbara was known for her delight in giving all of herself and her loving attention to family and friends and her enjoyment of life. Barbara was born July 21, 1932 on a farm in rural South Dakota and raised in the small town of Rowena by the much-respected Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd L.W. Jones, a grain dealer and Sioux Falls political figure, joined and sang at Rowena Methodist Church. Barbara's marriage and move to St. Louis brought out her interest in golf and she served as President of a local Ladies Golf Association in the 70's. In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by a wide circle of close, loving friends; by her brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Debbie Jones of Sioux Falls; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sandra Schmidt of St. Louis; son, Steven of Los Angeles; and by grandchildren, Stephanie, Darby, Delaney & Dalton. Funeral Service at the SCHRADER Funeral Home, 14960 Manchester Rd., at Holloway, Ballwin, Saturday 10AM. Interment Thomas A. Howell Cemetery, St. Charles, MO. If desired, contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hwy. D, New Melle, MO, 63365. Visitation Saturday, 9AM until time of service.
