KNIGHT, Audrey Violet Audrey was born in Nightingale, Alberta on July 15, 1931 and passed away unexpectedly on February 1, 2009 at the age of 77 years. She will be deeply missed by her husband Peter Porfoun, daughters Diana (Doug) Steele, and Darlene (Jack) Beddoes, both of Crossfield, son Douglas (Carol) Knight of Eckville, three grandchildren Marcy (Cory) Finley, Carmen (Rob) Tremblay, and Nicholas (Shaina) Snyder, all of Crossfield, and four great-grandchildren. Audrey is also survived by sister Henrietta (Gil) Sanderson, three brothers Eldon Walls, Clayton (Donna) Walls, Ivan (Rosemarie) Walls, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Jack Knight, parents Lizzie and Henry Walls, brothers baby Billy and Thomas, sister Doris, and brother-in-law Melvin. Audrey will be sadly missed for her generous heart and all her baking. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2009 at Strathmore United Church, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Canadian Arthritis Society (No. 200, 1301 - 8 Street S.W., Calgary, T2R 1B7).
