LEE, Arthur. H. August 15, 1916 - November 10, 2002. Passed away peacefully with dignity on Sunday, November 10, 2002 after a courageous battle at the age of eighty-six years. Left to mourn the loss of a wonderful husband and father are Mr. Lee's wife of 50 years, Maureen, and sons Gilbert (Rebecca), Carson (Deborah), Gavin (Linda) and Garnet (Joanne). He was a devoted grandfather to Tina, Melissa, Shannon, Olivia, Monika, Amanda and Michael. Mr. Lee was the dear brother of the late Jessie Quon and the late William Lee and is survived by brothers Samuel, Howard, Robert and Kenneth and their families. Mr. Lee was a co-founder of Wing Hing Lung (Wing Noodles Ltd.) and was a well respected businessman and philanthropist of the Chinese Community in Montreal. The family wishes to thank Dr. Gordon Rubin, and the doctors and the staff at the Jewish General Hospital for their wonderful care and attendance. The family is also grateful to all those who helped Mr. Lee with their thoughts and prayers during his illness. Resting at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont, visitation will be on Wednesday and Thursday, November 13 and 14 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A service in memory of Mr. Lee will be held Friday, November 15, in the chapel at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Montreal Chinese Presbyterian Church, Chinese Catholic Mission, Montreal Chinese Hospital Foundation, Chinese Family Services of Greater Montreal or the Jewish General Hospital Foundation ("Arthur H.Lee Memorial Fund").
