LYON _ Arthur, suddenly after a brief stay in Ridge Meadows Hospital on January 8, 2004. Born in Vancouver, B.C. on January 31, 1919. He has now joined his beloved wife Rhodena (1988) who he so dearly missed. He leaves his beloved daughter Gwen (Wood) and grandchildren, Kim and Scott; brother-in-law Steve (Doreen) McKinnon and their children, Mike (Corry); and sons, Bryson and Austin, Tricia (Darren Fung) and their children Justin and Julia. Art also had many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was a member of the amalgamated transit union for over 50 years and a member of Grandview Masonic Lodge #96 for 49 years. He also spent many years bowling in leagues in Vancouver and Maple Ridge. A tea of remembrance will be held at the home of his daughter on Sunday, February 15th from 2:00 - 5:00 at 21540 Thornton Avenue, Maple Ridge. No service by request. Donations can be made in Art's name to the Multiple Sclerosis Society if so wished.
