CROWE, Arthur Arthur Crowe passed away peacefully at the Southwood Hospice on June 1, 2010 at the age of eighty-seven years. Art is survived by his loving wife of forty-nine years, Agnes, his sister Molly, Agnes' sister Janette and her husband Tony, along with three nieces and three nephews. Art joined the RCAF in 1942 and served in England until 1945. He rejoined the air force in 1953, served in Germany from 1956 to 1959 then returned to Penhold, AB. Art and Agnes were married in Scotland in 1961 and lived in Penhold until 1964. They returned to Germany from 1964 to 1969. They retired to Calgary in 1972, where they resided until his death. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service to be held at Crescent Heights Baptist Church, 1212 - 1 Street N.W., Calgary on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Cornell officiating. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to Gull Lake Camp, RR 3, Lacombe, AB. T0C 1S0. The family is extremely grateful for the care and support given to both Art and Agnes by their friends and their church.
