NEW HAVEN -- Arthur Henry "Art" Henley, 72, a res- ident of New Haven, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2003, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, KY. He was a member of the Baptist faith, a retired ma- chinist from Kenton Machine Shop in Tucson, AZ, a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Bloomfield American Legion and a Kentucky Colonel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Henley and Ida Daniels Henley; wife, Dorothy Edna Robbins Henley; daughter, Patricia Ann "Patty" Henley Allan; brother, Bobby Henley; and two sisters, Betty Henley and Margie Lightbody. He is survived by three sons, Arthur "Butch" Henley, Tommy Henley and Tony Henley, all of New Haven; two daughters, Martha Allen of Radcliff, KY, and Bonnie Cloven of New Haven; 13 grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; brother, Thomas Henley of Ipswich, MA; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel of William R. Rust Funeral Home in New Haven, with the Rev. Eddie Coakley, pastor of New Haven First Baptist Church, officiating. Cremation will follow. Burial will be in the St. Catherine Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2003, and 9 a.m. Sunday, May 25, 2003, until the time of the service at William R. Rust Funeral Home.
