->Williams ArleneArlene Marie Williams, passed away on May 11, 2011. Arlene was 90 years old and a life long resident of Pearl River. She is predeceased by her husband of 62 years Arthur Williams. Arlene is survived by her son, Robert of Nanuet, N.Y. her daughter Sharon and her husband Jack of Pearl River, N.Y. She leaves behind her granddaughter Jennifer (Messina) Babore, her husband Rocco and their son Drew. Also, her grandson Eric Messina, his wife Jessica and their daughter Emelia. Arlene cherished her relationships with family and friends.Arlene was the daughter of Clarence and Arlene Katenkamp. She was a member of the Van Zadt Society, the society can trace its first family members that came to America in 1640. Her grandfather was the first dentist in Pearl River, and it is told that he was with a group of friends that found the pearl in Muddy Creek which led to the town being named Pearl River. Arlene was a homemaker for most of her life but during WW II she worked for Lederle Laboratories. She was also a part time resident in Fultonham, N.Y. where she had a second home. Arlene was a wonderful person, a gracious lady and anyone who met her appreciated her wonderful manner. She will be sorely missed by her family, her friends and acquaintances. Visiting will be held today Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at the Wyman Fisher Funeral Home Inc. A funeral service will take place Saturday May 14, 2011 at 9:30 AM at the funeral home.
