HUGHES, Arlene Mary Deveans, born December 11, 1938, in Utica N.Y., wentto be with the Lord and her beloved parents and husband, September 13, 2010. Arlene is survived by one sister, Marion Cassidy and her husband, Jack; ex-husband, Walter Hughes; four children, Deborah Crager and her husband Ron, Dennis Hughes and his wife Linda, Laurie Youmans and her husband, David, and Christine Kerr and her husband, Marty; seven grandchildren, Erin, Shane, Jenny, Tricia, Heather, Brittany, and Amber; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Katie Flores. She fought a long rough battle with cancer and a stroke. She worked for the Tampa Tribune as a carrier, in the University of south Florida area. She will be missed immensely and cherished by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to the Life Path Melech Hospice House at 11125 52nd st N, Temple Terrace FL, 33617.
