HARDING Anthony Douglas Harding, age 59, entered into eternal life to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at St. Vincent's Hospital after fighting cancer for a year and a half. He was born in Bridgeport, September 10, 1949 to the late Edward Harding and Gladys Dandrige Harding and was also predeceased by a brother, Phillip Harding. He was in the Union District Council II and worked as a dry wall taper, a job he really loved and was good at. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing horseshoes and was also into Martial Arts for many years. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 26 years, Ann Torti Harding; one son, Anthony Harding Jr. of Colorado; and one stepson, James Torti of Bridgeport; two brothers, Hugh Struthers and wife, Shirley of New Jersey and Emmett Harding and wife, Diane of Naugatuck; two sisters, Sharon Lutters of Derby and Florence Harding of Bridgeport. He also left three grandsons; one step-grandson; and many nieces and nephews. Also to cherish his memory and miss him dearly are many of his friends and associates. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 8 p.m. in George J. Peterson Funeral Home, 1041 Noble Avenue, Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family from 6 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to George J. Peterson Funeral Home.
