Homemaker GLOVERVILLE, S.C. - Entered into rest on Sunday, July 31, 2005, Mrs. Annie Ruth Leopard Davis, wife of the late Mr. Edward C. Davis, Jr. of Hillvale Street, Gloverville. She was most recently preceded in death by two sons, Levi Davis and Odell Davis. Surviving are four sons, Edward C. 'Buddy' Davis, III, Batesburg, SC, Dennis Davis, Gloverville, Tommy Davis, Buford, GA and Dale Davis, North Augusta; two daughters, Faye Black, Homer, GA and Brenda Taylor, Anniston, Ala; 21 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Davis was born in Walhalla, SC to the late Red and Pat Leopard. She was a member of of Gloverville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in the Gloverville Pentecostal Holiness Church with Revs. Ron Lawson and Charles Wilson officiating. Mrs. Davis will be placed in the church at 1:00 p.m. on the day of the service. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bennie Davis, Lamar David, Clyde David, Roy Cooper, David Randall and Bennie Pew. Friends may call at the residence of Dennis Davis, 235 Church St., Gloverville or on Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hatcher Funeral Home, U.S. Hwy. No. 1, Langley, SC.
