-> Lyons - Mrs. Annie Ruth Jordan, 87, died Sunday, February 20, 2005 at Coquina Center, Ormond Beach, Florida, after an extended illness. Mrs. Jordan was born September 16, 1918. A native of Volusia County but living most of her life in Toombs County. She was a homemaker and a "Charter" member of Edmond Chapel Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband Gary Jordan in 1979; her eldest son, William Ray in 1966; and eldest daughter, Lora Gaile in 2004. She is survived by three daughters, Shirley J. Morris of Brooklet, GA, Faye Jordan of Daytona Beach, FL, and Lisa Jordan of Holly Hill, FL; two sons, Gary B. Jordan, Jr., St. Augustine, FL, and James R. Jordan of Ormond Beach, FL; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, W. Buster Mulkey of Greenwood, SC, and Robert J. "Bob" Mulkey of Amarillo, TX; two sisters, Helen Toole and Lola B. Griner both of Lyons, GA., and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 24, 2005 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 25, 2005 at Edmond Chapel Church of God with The Reverend's R.M. Warren and F.M. Henderson officiating. Interment: Harden's Chapel Cemetery.
