Annie Ruth (Williams) Jones of Nyack, NY passed away on May 17, 2009. She was 72 years old. Annie was born on November 25, 1936 in Marengo Co. Alabama to Margaret (Davis) Edwards and the late Isadore Williams. She attended John Essex High School and was affiliated with Miller AME Zion Church where she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior both located in Demopolis, AL. She moved to Nyack in 1968 and worked for Rockland State Hospital and later worked for Pavion Ltd. for 15 years. She is survived by three brothers; James (Juanita) Edwards, Tommy Edwards and Jessie (Wilma) Edwards and one brother, Doc Williams, deceased; two sons; Lloyd (Lori) Jones of Beacon, NY and Michael Jones of Spring Valley, NY. seven daughters; Viola Jones, Margaret Adams both of Chicago, Rosie Jones, Brenda (Denaul) Dickerson, Patricia Jones, Priscilla Jones and Isadora Jones all of Nyack. 26 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Uncles, Aunts and friends. The family is indeed grateful to each of you for your prayers, visits, phone calls, flowers, cards and the many kind expressions of sympathy shown during this period of bereavement. May God bless each of you. A Homegoing Service will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at Pilgrim Baptist Church in Nyack.
