Survivors include her sons, Willie Newson of Seoul, South Korea, Gregory Newson of Sarasota, Michael Newson of Medford, Ore.; one daughter, Bobbie Lynn of Tampa; brothers, Rev. S. D. Pollard of Palmetto, Ret. LTC David Pollard of Miramar, Johnny Pollard of Plantation; sisters, Fannie Lou Johnson of Palmetto, Julia Burke of Palmetto, Rose McClellan of Miami, Ella Myles of Palmetto; and two grandchildren.
