Annie Ruth Davis Edwards, age 95, of Gainesville, passed away Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at her residence following an extended illness.Mrs. Edwards was born March 15, 1918, in Atlanta, to the late C.C. and Viola Mae Davis. She worked in accounts receivable with Trust Company of Georgia. Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her husband, Ted K. Edwards, three sisters and two brothers.Mrs. Edwards is survived by two children, son and daughter-in-law, Theodore James and Kathi Edwards of Fla.; daughter and son-in-law, Carol Ann and Ronnie Pilcher of Gainesville; stepson and wife, Theodore M. and Roberta Pulsifer of Warner Robins, who mother loved as her own; 15 grandchildren; and many precious great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at the Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Maitland LaForce officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-3 and 5-7 Sunday at the funeral home.
