Annie Pearl Williams, 95, Rogersville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Annex.She was born March 17, 1906, in Rogersville.Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert Lawton Williams; son, Robert Holland Williams; five brothers, Felix Kennedy, Thomas Kennedy, Johnny Kennedy, Opal Kennedy and Almon Kennedy; and three sisters, Octavia K. Farnsworth, Josie K. Scott and Nellie K. White.The funeral service will be Sunday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m. at Elkins East Chapel in Center Star, with Brother Albert Helton and Brother Alvin Burbank officiating.Burial will be at Center Star Cemetery.The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughters, Laurie W. Freeman and Jean W. Gautney; grandsons, Billy Freeman and wife, Diane, Jerry Freeman and wife, Ramona, Tim Gautney and wife, Tammy, Russell Gautney and wife, LaDale, Randell Gautney and wife, Amy; granddaughters, Lindy Landers, Robin Holden and husband, Ricky; great-grandchildren, Adam Herron and wife, Kelly, B.J. Herron, Matthew Landers, Dennis Freeman, Jessica Freeman, Rebecca Freeman, Seth Gautney, Stephanie Gautney, Caleb Gautney and Nicholas Gautney; great-great-grandson, Jacob Lawton Herron; and a host of nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be grandsons, Billy Freeman, Jerry Freeman, Tim Gautney, Randell Gautney, great-grandsons, Matthew Landers and Caleb Gautney.Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Station 5 at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Annex Nursing Home.
