Annie Nell Jackson, 86, Palmetto, died Dec. 22, 2005. She was born Aug. 18, 1919, in Boston, Ga., and came to Palmetto at an early age. She was a child-care worker. She was a member of St. John First Baptist Institutional Church. Survivors include daughters Eva Bing and Elise Ford, both of Palmetto, and Shirley and Priscilla, both of Bradenton; sons Wardell of Palmetto and Gary of Bradenton; sisters Marcella Smith and Mattie Sims, both of Palmetto, and Hattie Sermon of St. Petersburg; a brother, Roosevelt Dunbar of Riviera Beach; 12 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Westside Funeral Home in Palmetto. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John First Baptist Institutional Church in Palmetto. Burial will be at Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton.
