-> Mrs. Annie Mae Walker entered into rest on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at her resident, Mrs. Annie Mae Walker of Montgomery Street, Augusta, GA. She was a member of Elim Baptist Church and a member of the Senior Mission. She is survived by one son, Mr. Valdon Walker, Jr. of Columbia, SC; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Vaughns of Augusta and Mrs. Velma W. (James) Johnson, Savannah; one sister, Mrs. Lula B. Freeman, Augusta; five grandchildren, Mr. Derrick T. Johnson, Savannah, Ms. Sandra Tutt, Ms. Rosalyn C. Jones, Ms. Stephanie Vaughns and Ms. Allison Gresham all of Augusta; 12 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, four sisters-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. from The Klim Baptist Church with Rev. J.S. Wright officiating. Funeral processional will leave the resident 705 Montgomery Street at 12:30 p.m. The body will lie in state at the Church from 12, Noon until hour of service and will not be viewed afterwards.
