Athens - Annie Mae Silvey Smith, 104, died January 25, 2009.She was a daughter of the late S. G. and Lula Bell Bone Silvey and the widow of Charlie Albert Smith. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Vivian O. Fowler.Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will be in Whitehall Baptist Church Cemetery.Survivors include two children, James L. Smith of Athens and Frances M. Wilson of Comer; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the funeral home.Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
