Visitation Friday, July 19, 2013 from 12 Noon - 8 p.m., with the family present 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., at Foston Funeral Home.She was born July 9, 1939 in Montgomery County to the late Jimmy and Ada Brewer Griffin. She graduated from the historical Burt High School, Class of 1957. She was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the Mass Choir. She retired from General Care Nursing Home. She is preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Hargrow.She leaves to cherish her loving memory, daughter, Rhonda Lyle, Clarksville, TN; sons, Ricky (Linda) Griffin, Antioch, TN, Reggie Lyle and Rodney Lyle, both of Clarksville, TN;sisters, Josephine Meriwether and Jennie Mae Minor, both of Clarksville, TN; brothers, George Oldham, Indianapolis, IN and Jesse Oldham, Jr., Clarksville, TN; grandchildren, Ricky Griffin, Jr., Antioch, TN, Raven Shelby, Bowling Green, KY, Martavious Lyle, Meracle Jackson, Reggie Lyle and Rodney Lyle, Jr., all of Clarksville, TN; three great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.Foston Funeral Home, (931) 647-5451.
