Annie Mae Jones Brown - SAVANNAH - Annie Mae Jones Brown, 90, passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at her daughter's residence. Born April 22, 1919 to the late William and Hattie Jones. She joined St. John Baptist Church in Oliver, GA, at an early age. She later moved to New York City for a short time. After returning to Oliver, GA, she was united with Morgan Green. After his passing she moved to Savannah, GA, and later united with James A. Brown. She joined David Temple Holiness Church, then later joined St. Paul C.ME. Church, three years ago she moved to Atlanta, GA, and joined Gathering The Harvest Int. Ministries and there she became the Mother of the Church. She worked with The Jewish Refugees and The Literacy Programs and a long time member of Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by two sons, Paul Jones and Edwin Jones. She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Margaret A. Lee (Robert), Sarah L. Brown and Jean Brown; two sons, Kelly Green and Melvin Kelsey (Her Boy); thirteen grandchildren, Norris, Alvena, Lenny, Bobby, Keisha, Lil Paul, Xazabian, Hanniyyah, Tonya, Lil Eddie, Destyne, Andre, Jennifer, thirty great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, five brothers, JT Jones, Roger Loving, Edward Loving, Lawrence Eaton and Tyrone Eaton, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, her nurse and caregivers, Rosa Prescott, Emma White and Fran Ulycees.
