LEE, Annie Irene "Nancy" On Thursday, June 19, 2008, as the day was beginning, Annie Irene "Nancy" Lee of Whitecourt peacefully passed away at the age of 94 years. Nancy will always be loved and remembered by her son, Henry, and his wife, Jane, of Whitecourt; grandchildren, Victoria Lee, Jonathan (Carrie), and Charles, all of Edmonton; and great-granddaughters, Alexandra and Cora. Nancy was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Predeceased by her husband, Leonard Levy; and brothers, Charles and Percy.Nancy after having a full life in Britain, volunteering with the Women's Royal Voluntary Service for 35 years, ventured to live in Canada in her 70's. She adapted to the change and started in her independent life style by volunteering again. Nancy was an avid reader of mysteries and Jane Austen's writings. May Nancy Now Rest in Peace. A Celebration of Nancy's Life will be held on Friday, June 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Whitecourt United Church. Reverend Liz Richards officiating with a private interment at a later date. Cremation in the Park Memorial Crematorium.
