Annie Lee Jones, 85, died Dec. 20, 2012, at her home. She was born in Cairo, Ga., and lived in Fort Pierce for 55 years, coming from her birthplace. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, and of Eastern Star and Heroine of Jericho. Survivors include her sons, Mack Jones Jr. of Vero Beach, Ronald Jones of Orlando, Joseph Jones of Groveland and Terry Jones of Fort Pierce; daughters, Thelma Gilyard of Vero Beach, and Betty Jones-Tumblin, Lucille Hicks and Brenda Shuman, all of Fort Pierce; sister, Hattie Mae McCoy of Fort Pierce; 39 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Jones; and sons, Willie James Jones and Robert Lee Jones. Services: Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Dec. 28 and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Dec. 29 at Sarah's Memorial Chapel in Fort Pierce. A home going service will be at 1 p.m. Dec. 29 at Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce. Burial will be in Sarah's Memorial Garden in Fort Pierce.
