EUTAW Annie Laura Henderson went to her heavenly home Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at Greene County Hospital. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at Union Christian Church, where she has been a member for 77 years. Rev. Ken Lee will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Grady Henderson; her parents, Jim and Kate Wilson; her brothers, Perry Wilson of Aliceville, and Grady Wilson and B.C. Wilson of Eutaw; her sisters, Sarah Ella Gandy and Ida Mae Wilson of Eutaw, and Leola Taylor of Tuscaloosa; and a grandson, Baby French of Birmingham.She is survived by her daughters, Dorothy Yeager (Ben) of Eutaw, Sara French (Gerson) of Moody, and Mary Kooker (Mic) of Opelika; her son, George S. Henderson (Glenda) of Eutaw; her brother, J.M. Wilson (Mary) of Russellville; her brother-in-law, Howard Henderson of Eutaw; nine grandchildren, Mike Yeager (Doris) and Gene Yeager (Teresa) of Akron, Denise Vaughan (Tim) of Cottondale, Kristie Block (Joel) and Susan Elam (Al) of Northport, Jim French (Shirley) of Eutaw, Kandi Zackie (David) and Kim Smith (Josh) of Moody, and Laurie Kooker of Opelika; 15 great grandchildren, Derek Yeager (Lauren), Amanda Yeager, Michelle Yeager, Audrey French, Jimmy French, Allie French, Matthew Smith, Johnathon Zackie, Noah Zackie, Megan Block, Peyton Block, Samantha Block, Katie Hammonds, Jay Elam, and Benjamin Vaughan; four step great grandchildren, Christopher Lott, Elizabeth Hulsey, Hillary Hulsey, and Victoria Hulsey; and one great-great grandchild, Alyssa Lee Yeager.Pallbearers will be Mike Yeager, Gene Yeager, Jim French, James Wilson, David Zackie, and Joel Block.Honorary pallbearers are members of Union Christian Church, staff of Greene County Nursing Home, Greene County Hospital, Dr. Jamel Meleolain and Dr. Farooqui, and Southern Care Hospice.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Union Christian Church Cemetery Fund or the charity of one's choice.
