Gower, Annie Jane Palmer Ambrose Peacefully at Hillsdale Manor on Wednesday August 6, 2003 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Henry J. Gower. Loving mother of Jim Gower & his wife Laurene of Barrie, Edna Barnes & her husband Ted of Oshawa, Millie Brown of Perrytown, Ruth Butler of Courtice & Peggy Wilson & her husband Harvey of Cobourg. Predeceased by her daughter Anne, sons in law Arthur Brown and Murray Butler. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Annie worked for many years at the Oshawa General Hospital and will be fondly remembered by many co-workers and friends. A private family service was held in Oshawa on Saturday, August 9, 2003.
