Annie Inez Allen Todd Annie Inez Allen Todd "Mema," 81, of Bryceville, went to be with the Lord, January 10, 2009. She was born Oct. 25, 1927 in Tallahassee to the late Oscar Allen and Annie Rebecca Harvey Allen. She graduated from Leon High School in Ft. Braden and went to Florida State Business College in Jacksonville.She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur; her parents; her brothers, Rainey and Olan Allen; her grandson, Stephen Scott; and great-granddaughter, Makena Lynn. She was a member of River Road Baptist Church and leaves behind 2 sons, Lynn (Donna) and Terry (Donna) Todd; 3 daughters, Sheila (Mike) Gordon, Carole (Steve) Crawford and Brenda (Ron); 10 granddaughters; 5 grandsons; 8 great-grandsons and 11 great-granddaughters.She enjoyed spending time with family, friends and going to church. When asked what she would want everyone to always know, she would say, "I loved everybody and wanted the best for everyone. I can't come back, but you can ask God to forgive you so you can come see me." She loved her church and never wanted to miss the singing.She believed in the power of God's love, of loving everyone and all of God's creation, of forgiveness and of constant prayer. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wed., EST Jan. 14, 2009 at Giddens-Reed Funeral Home, 270 U.S. Highway 301 N., Baldwin (904-266-2337). The funeral and memory service will be celebrated 12:30 p.m. EST Thursday, January 15, 2009 at River Road Baptist Church, 21067 County Road 121, Hilliard, FL 32046, with Rev. James Conner and Dr. Andy Bowman officiating.Interment will follow in River Road Baptist Church Cemetery.
