GRANITEVILLE, Ga. - Answered Gods call Sunday, July 20, 2003, Mrs. Annie Gregory Proctor, age 70, of Graniteville, wife of Mr. Bobby G. Proctor and daughter of the late Dennis Z. Gregory and the late Mamie Barton Gregory. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Bobbie Ann Proctor Hilton and her husband, Charles Hilton of Graniteville; three grandchildren, Rachel Hilton, April Proctor, and Kevin Proctor and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry 'Gene' Proctor and a sister, Jessie Mae Munn. She was born in Ridge Spring, and was a lifelong resident of Graniteville. She was retired as the Office Manager with the Aiken Baptist Association. She was a member of the Graniteville First Baptist Church where she taught the Jewel Gregg Sunday school class. The funeral service will be conducted this Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at 4 p.m. in the church with Rev. Steven L. Hendricks, Rev. Tommy Knotts and Rev. John Bolin officiating. The interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The pallbearers will be R. L. Cromer, Frank Harling, Buddy Friday, Larry Harris, Ronnie Bryant, Kevin Blackwell, Bobby Brantley and Bruce Herrin. Ann, as she was so fondly known to her many friends, will be greatly missed by her friends and family. God only picks the very best flowers for his garden, and He must have needed one with a pleasant smile, who had a genuine love for her fellow man, such as Ann displayed.
