Annie Gertrude Owens BRISTOL - Annie Gertrude Owens, 81, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Tuesday at the Bristol Assembly of God Church, with burial at Lake Mystic Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT today at Adams Funeral Home in Bristol (643-5410). Mrs. Owens was a native and lifelong resident of Liberty County and was a member of the Bristol Assembly of God Church.She had worked for many years as a cook in the Liberty ICF and at the lunchroom cafeterias in Liberty County Schools. She was the wife of the late James "Red" Owens. Survivors include two sisters, Vinnie McMillan of Blountstown and Hazel Tanton of Bristol; two grandchildren, Carrie Riley of Crawfordville and Phillip Owens of Panama City Beach; and four great-grandchildren.
