CARROLL, Annie (nee Caruk)It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother, Annie (Ann) Carroll. Ann was born, July 9, 1934 on the family farm in Garland, Manitoba; she left Garland in her teens to attend University in Winnipeg, she joined the RCAF in Vancouver in 1956, then on to work as a stewardess with TCA. She was married (Andrew) in 1960 and had three boys, Michael, Dana and Christopher. The boys were her life; while raising them on her own, she worked full time as a bookkeeper, attended University and obtained her CGA designation at UBC. Ann continued to work for various companies throughout her career up until the day she passed. This was how she was; an inspiration and a role model to many, a dedicated and loyal mother to her boys and a loving grandmother. Ann is survived by her three sons and five grandchildren, Michael (Linda), Dana (Cynthia), Christopher (Kristin) and Tayler, Jake, Connor, Carson and Brennen. The family will hold a private memorial in the next few weeks and anyone wishing to extend their blessings or support are encouraged to donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC.
