-> Statesboro - Ms. Annie Agnes Williams, daughter of the late Warren Riley and Rose L. Williams, was born in Bulloch County on June 1, 1908. She passed into eternal rest on Monday, March, 15, 2004. She was a member of Mount Zion A.M.E. Church where she has served as Steward, Trustee, Superintendent of Sunday School and Secretary of Sunday School. She traveled extensively to church related conference and other functions. She attended Elementary School in Bulloch County. Her Jr. High School years were spent in Savannah and she completed her High School and College education at Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA. She continued her education at New York University, Indiana University, Paine College, Georgia Southern College and University of Kansas. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #28 and the Royal Savings Club. She retired as an Educator after 42 years of service in Screven, Toombs, Bulloch and Morgan County. She is survived by three n ieces Agnes A. Young of Statesboro, GA, Veronice Smalls of Atlanta, GA, Denise Mike of Suitland, MD; four nephews, Leo M. Young and Hollis Ray Tremble both of Statesboro, GA, Dewitt T. Young of Savannah, GA, Simuel H. Young of Arlington, VA; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Zion A.M.E. Church. Rev. Lewis Wilson Pastor and Eulogist; Burial in church cemetery. Remains will lie-in-state from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Mount Zion A.M.E. Church. Viewing will take place from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2004 at the funeral home. Craig R.
