Annette Christine Smith <br/> Annette Christine --> Annette Christine Smith Annette Christine Smith, 68, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014. A Celebration of Annette's Life will be held at Landrum First Baptist Church Sunday, September 7 from 2:30-3:30pm. Annette was born August 9, 1946 in Oneonta, New York, daughter of the late Merritt Fenton and Evelyn Godbee Fenton. She was a graduate of Pembroke State University and served as a teacher for many years. After teaching, she worked with the local library, as well as working with Wal-Mart in the area of training cashiers. She loved to read, crochet, and knit in her spare time. Annette will always be remembered by her family as a loving sister, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by two sons, Stephen Emil Smith of Kingsport, TN and Lewis Merritt Smith of North Charleston, SC; two grandchildren, Lulu Smith, and Marley Copeland; and her brother, Bruce M. Fenton of Wall, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society or the Homeless Shelter.
