SMITH Annette C. Smith, 59, of St. Marys, died Monday, April 15, 2002 at Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville. A native of Coffee County, she had resided in Camden County for the past 35 years. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church of St. Marys, the Order of the Eastern Star and was an avid seamstress in which she made blankets for many families in the Camden area. She is survived by her husband, Milby Vernon Smith, Jr. of St. Marys; 2 Sons, James Robert (Fran) Gill of Blackshear, Curtis (Cherry) Gill of Blackshear; 1 Daughter, Ann (Robert) Gill-Likas of Charlotte, NC, 1 sister, Faye Gill of Blackshear, 9 Grandchildren, 2 Great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Coastal Baptist Church in St. Marys with Revs. Sam Crosby and Tony Barber officiating. Burial will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Waycross. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Active Pallbearers will be the Men of the Church.
