HomemakerLAKELAND -- Mrs. Annette Partin Anderson of Lakeland died of lung failure Friday (Dec. 30, 2005) at Highlands Lake Center in Lakeland. She was 85.Born in Thomasville, Ga., on Sept. 26, 1920, she was a longtime resident of Polk County. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the American Audubon Society and The Sierra Club. She was a Navy veteran of World War II. She was a member of McLeod Memorial Presbyterian Church in Bartow.Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, A.L. "Bert" Anderson. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Doyle, Lakeland; brother, David Partin, Lakeland; sister, Rebecca Wise, Lakeland; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E. Main St., Bartow. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at Wildwood Cemetery, 900 W. Stuart St., Bartow.
