MOORE Anne Virshup Moore, age 89 of Stratford, devoted wife of Irwin S. Moore, died at her home, Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Born in New Haven, March 12, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Nassau) Virshup. She was the cherished mother of Ralph (Beverly) Moore of St. Paul, Minn. and Nancy (Steven Kanes) Moore of Brookline, Mass; dear sister of the late William and Bernard Virshup, Harriet CoFrances, Mae Zachary and Isabelle Werner; and cherished grandmother of Lauren Moore, Sarah Kanes, Emily (Steven Snyder) Kanes Snyder. Funeral services in the Robert E. Shure Funeral Home, 543 George St., New Haven, Friday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. with interment services to follow in the B'Nai Jacob Memorial Park, Wintergreen Avenue, New Haven. Memorial contributions may be sent to Vitas Hospice, 777 Commerce Drive, Suite 220, Fairfield, CT 06825 or to a charity of one's choice. A Period of Mouning will be observed at 592-B Erie Lane, Oronoque Village, Stratford through Saturday.
